SALEM — Santa stopped by the Witch City early this year to raise money for those in need thanks to a local business woman’s mission to support her mother-in-law requiring a heart transplant, and to build community.

Locals dropped by The Hive Workspace on Washington Street Wednesday night to snap free photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, aka, Michael and Melissa Curley of Wilmington.

Through Blue House Santa, the Curleys dress up as Christmas’s favorite couple to snap photos and collect donations for various charities each year. They were invited to Salem Wednesday by Manirichana Chan-Leavitt, owner of Heart Lynx Permanent Jewelry.
